2019.06.14- Today we send out biggest congratulations to Baxter’s daughter Team-Freja Pollux (Barbwired Better than the Rest x Bellomis Vodka Lime) on earning her Swedish Blood Tracking Champion title!
Pollux “Ebba” is the sister to our Stella and the first puppy from Baxter to earn a champion title.
Congrats to Ebba’s owners and breeder Carina for their great work. We are very proud!
2019.06.02- We decided to get some training for the upcoming show season by attending an inofficial show at the local Brukshundsklub here in Göteborg. Stella behaved so well despite little to no training for the past 6 months.
The judge gave Stella a lovely evaluation! We are very proud. We did not get any love in the Best in Show ring, but it was a very positive experience for Stella and I. Hopefully more nice results will follow in the coming months.
2019.05.26- A big congratulations go out to John and Stella for a fantastic performance. Stella earned her 2nd, 1st prize in Open class blood tracking with a time of 20 min!

2019.04.19- It certainly was a Good Friday as Stella and John headed to the forest on the holiday for Stella’s first try at an open class track. The little red head did stellar with a time of 24 min and lovely comments from the judge for a thorough and careful tracking dog and excellent handler.

For the last activity of the year, Stella and John signed up for a tracking exam. We have been practicing with the little girl on and off for the past couple months and decided it was time to let her take a real test.
I’m happy to report that Stella passed with flying colors! The judge had only wonderful things to say about dog and her 1st time handler. As Stella seems to enjoy tracking, we hope to continue with her this spring and hopefully gain a few 1st prizes in open class.
In her first show as a Junior, Stella (Team-Freja Shaula; co-owned with Carina Hofling) earned Excellent with Hederpris/Honorary Prize (HP), Best of Breed Junior, Best of Breed and Best in Group 2 at an unofficial exhibition in Moheda. We did not wait around for the BIS Junior ring due to the chilly weather and 5+ hr wait time. We still need some more ring training, but she is a promising young girl.
After nearly a year absence from the show ring, we jumped back in today with both feet.
SKK National Exhibition in Backamo, Sweden, 2 dogs entered with lovely results.

We received the happy news that Liina (MultiCH/Winner Barbwired Champagne) is expecting puppies! The ultrasound confirmed that she is pregnant and puppies are expected week 21.
The father of the upcoming litter is the very handsome Ch. HeJW-16 Choiran Arioso (eyes checked without remarks, patella 0/0).
Arioso stems from a kaninchen x miniature wire pairing and Liina from a miniature x standard pairing. Both parents are miniature wires and we hope that the puppies will also be miniatures.
The coefficient of inbreeding for 4 generations is 0% and the pedigree is full of nice dogs from kennels including Freckle-Face (Finland), Suddebok (Austria), de Buch de la Perouse (France), and ot Mariny Kuranovoy (Russia). It is a unique combination of bloodlines and we hope for good dogs for family, show, and working tests.
Additionally, Liina has several hunting aptitude tests including: Gun shot test (sfk), Hare trailing (Spurlaut), Fox test (BhFK/95), and Blood tracking Champion (Spårprov). Tests were conducted in Germany and Sweden. Arioso is currently training for blood tracking & PIKA (kaninchen schleppe) in Finland.
