2026.06.26-28: Pápa, Hungary:
A great weekend in Hungary for Moniker Aurora “Sophie” on the three IDS in Pápa.
Sophie won 3xCAC, 2xRCACIB, CACIB and on Sunday she was BOS in really nice competition of 11 dogs.

Sophie is now 💥CHAMPION OF HUNGARY💥 and 💥Esterházy Memorial Winner💥
We are planning 2 litters by the end of 2027 with our girls Falka and Sophie. We aim for versatile dachshunds, with excellent temperament, exterior and good hunting instinct. We prioritize active homes where the dogs will live as family members. Our next litter is will be with our Cadis Falka vom Eisenstein. Falka is currently training blood tracking and underground in Sweden, two disciplines she has excelled in previously with results from Germany and Hungary. Falka was previously used in practical underground hunting, but she has fabulous voice also above ground and has full points on spurlaut(hare Drev). She has the exhibition rating of Exc1 CAC and BOB (Germany), completed BPH in Sweden and has her eyes examined without remarks. Additionally, we have DNA tested her and she is free from crd-PRA & OI.
We expect Falka to go into heat this autumn. Announcement of pregnancy along with details of the male will be made once the pregnancy is confirmed.
Our second litter will be planned with Moniker Aurora. Sophie is from our first litter and has exceeded our expectations earning several show champion titles, opened her international Champion title, has several group wins and BIS1 working dog.
In addition to her show career, Sophie has completed the BPH, has blood tracking merits and we are aiming to start her on under and above ground hunting this upcoming season. Sophie will have her eyes checked prior to breeding and we have DNA tested her and she is free from crd-PRA & OI.
We are currently planning to breed Sophie in summer 2027. Announcement of pregnancy along with details of the male will be made once the pregnancy is confirmed.
2026.06.21: We are happy to announce that Sophie has earned her WUT-Ch!🎉
To become WUT-Ch a dog must earn Best adult male or female at 4 shows in at least 2 FCI countries and pass a working test.
Sophie excelled and has thus far earned:
3x BOB & 1x BOS in Croatia 🇭🇷
3x BOB in Slovenia 🇸🇮
2x BOB in Bosnia & Herzegovina 🇧🇦
Plus Blood tracking in Sweden🌿🇸🇪
This isn’t a title that the SKK recognizes, but I think it is an important one to show the qualities of dogs to be beautiful and useful.
The house is a little quieter now that the boys have gone to their new homes.
Both our boys got shining reviews from the vet and no remarks at their checks. 🍀💐🐾
First out was Brokk who moved to Skara with Tomas and Ulrika. Tomas is an avid hunter and so we hope Brokk will do his parents proud and be a wonderful hunting companion.🦊🦡🦌
A week later Birk “Archie” was headed off to Linköping with Jennifer and Curtis where he will be a beloved (and spoiled) family pet. Aside from their previous experience with Jack Russell terriers, they have also spent time as dog watchers for Borzoi and larger dogs, so we are confident that a dachshund will be an excellent addition.💙
