Sophie and John went blood tracking this morning and passed the viltspår anlagsprov (aptitude test) for blood tracking. I especially like the comment from the judge: “A lively, willing to track female that worked excellently.”🏆🐾 First official results from our first homebred girl.❤️

The puppies haven’t been sleeping for the past months, several have started viltspår/blood tracking practice🖤💚🩷💙. Moniker Admiral 💚has been on short hunts and a few have been on puppy shows with nice results.

2024.04.20: We are happy to announce that after 3x 1st prizes in a row Zoe (Brianna Brava vom Eisenstein) will be able to add Swedish Blood Tracking Champion(Svensk viltspårchampionat) to her name.
As icing on the cake, all tests were performed under different judges.
At just 5 months old Moniker Atlas “Thorleif” attended his very first puppy show. He received a wonderful critique from well respected judge Cindy Pettersson and more important… he had a lot of fun! The end result was 1st place in puppy class with honor prize, BOB puppy and BIG-2 puppy. Big congratulations to Jenny and Thorleif!
His critique:
Excellent proportions, long elegant head with dark well formed eyes. Good ears, wonderful scissor bite. Very nice forebreast with straight legs. Well formed paws, good neck, well set shoulder, good length of ribcage. Strong lumbar region, good tail. Good angulation in back. Wonderful fur. A bold and lovely puppy that moves well.
At 4.5 months old, our puppies have grown a lot since they left us in October. We are so happy with not only the families these 6 little ones have gone to, but how they are developing.
Admiral (Lasse), Apollo (Bertil) and Amarillo (Milo) are enjoying the winter weather here on the west coast.
Aurora (Sophie) is enjoying playing with mom, Stella, and grandpa, Baxter… and of course her new X-mas toys.
Atlas (Thorleif) is as pretty as a picture and enjoying the winter outside Västerås.
Azacca (Esther) is a little skeptical of her photo-mates, but enjoying the city life in Gothenburg.

The puppies turned 8 weeks old on Saturday and they meant moving to new homes! All of the puppies have found wonderful homes around Sweden. A few will be staying around the Gothenburg area and we hope we can schedule a few sibling get togethers.
Before they left we had final table photos and play times in the garden. The table stacks are not perfect as I preferred to get a nature stack as previously with the puppies, but overall, I have been happy with what I have seen.

There were a lot of last: last nail clipping, last time in the garden, last cuddles on the couch, last play time all together. It’s a bittersweet feeling to watch them move out, but I know that there are wonderful families waiting for them.

Our little “A”s celebrated 6 weeks old this weekend, which meant a lot of time outside and some table practice.
2 boys (Green and Orange) are still available to active, loving homes.
Puppies will move to new homes starting October 1st.

Moniker Admiral (red boy, green collar) and Moniker Amarillo (wild boar boy, orange collar) are still looking for their forever homes. The puppies are 6 weeks old and can leave to new homes on October 1st.
They are after merited parents:
C.I.T, GS, DE(VDH)-CH MultiWinner Jamiroquai vom Eisenstein & SEVCH Team-Freja Shaula
Both parents have had their eyes checked multiple times without remarks, they have been genetically checked and are free from diseases OI and crd-PRA, known to affect wirehaired dachshunds. Jamiroquai is a highly merited hunting dog with excellent size, temperament and fur. Shaula is a blood tracking champion that has also been training nosework and eftersök (practical/real-life tracking). Both are excellent family dogs with good “on/off” switch.
The pedigree is a mix of working and exhibition dogs. Jamiroquai has produced a number of promising hunting and show offspring. Additionally, Shaula’s 2 previous litters with her breeder at Team-Freja kennel (2021), have started on show and blood tracking trials with success. With this litter, we hope for good tempered, healthy, active dogs with excellent exterior that can be true “all arounders”.
Aside from lifetime support from us (questions, help with grooming or training, etc…) our puppies come with:
-Registration in the Swedish Kennel Club (SKK) with pedigree
-Veterinary examination and report not older than 7 days
-Microchipping and 1st vaccinations (*Passport available upon request)
-3x deworming
-Hidden faults insurance through Agria as well as help with setting up individual insurance

-Detailed tips and timepoints important for your new puppy

-Blanket with scent from mom/siblings
Moreover, we have spend a lot of time socializing our puppies to various sound, people and situations, which we hope will lead to a well balanced, stable family member.
