Moniker Apollo “Bertil”🖤 completed the BPH with shot on Sunday, September 1st in Sweden. He received lovely scores and comments about what a wonderful little dog he was. 💗It makes me so happy to have found such amazing, active owners for the whole litter.
2024.08.10- Today John and Sophie went to do the BPH (Beteende- och personlighets-beskrivning hund/Behavior and personality description -dog). This is a test that we have done with all of our current dogs which basically allows us to have an evaluation of the mentality and temperament of our dogs. There are several “movements” that include meeting unknown people, gun shot steadiness, sudden/surprise events and so on.
The area where the test was performed was partially underwater and there was the additional distraction of swallows on the field. Despite all that, Sophie was her happy, confident and goofy self and took all the movements in stride. Both John and the evaluator said that Sophie may have just been the happiest dog they had even seen.😅
We strive to have excellent temperaments on all our dogs going forward and feel that Sophie encapsulates the friendly “home” dog, but driven hunting dog we are striving for.

Sophie and John went blood tracking this morning and passed the viltspår anlagsprov (aptitude test) for blood tracking. I especially like the comment from the judge: “A lively, willing to track female that worked excellently.”🏆🐾 First official results from our first homebred girl.❤️

The puppies haven’t been sleeping for the past months, several have started viltspår/blood tracking practice🖤💚🩷💙. Moniker Admiral 💚has been on short hunts and a few have been on puppy shows with nice results.

2024.04.20: We are happy to announce that after 3x 1st prizes in a row Zoe (Brianna Brava vom Eisenstein) will be able to add Swedish Blood Tracking Champion(Svensk viltspårchampionat) to her name.
As icing on the cake, all tests were performed under different judges.
At just 5 months old Moniker Atlas “Thorleif” attended his very first puppy show. He received a wonderful critique from well respected judge Cindy Pettersson and more important… he had a lot of fun! The end result was 1st place in puppy class with honor prize, BOB puppy and BIG-2 puppy. Big congratulations to Jenny and Thorleif!

Excellent proportions, long elegant head with dark well formed eyes. Good ears, wonderful scissor bite. Very nice forebreast with straight legs. Well formed paws, good neck, well set shoulder, good length of ribcage. Strong lumbar region, good tail. Good angulation in back. Wonderful fur. A bold and lovely puppy that moves well.
