Updated (All puppies sold): Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds males looking for forever homes

*** UPDATE 2023.09.24: All puppies are sold.***

Moniker Admiral (red boy, green collar) and Moniker Amarillo (wild boar boy, orange collar) are still looking for their forever homes. The puppies are 6 weeks old and can leave to new homes on October 1st.

They are after merited parents:

C.I.T, GS, DE(VDH)-CH MultiWinner Jamiroquai vom Eisenstein & SEVCH Team-Freja Shaula

Both parents have had their eyes checked multiple times without remarks, they have been genetically checked and are free from diseases OI and crd-PRA, known to affect wirehaired dachshunds. Jamiroquai is a highly merited hunting dog with excellent size, temperament and fur. Shaula is a blood tracking champion that has also been training nosework and eftersök (practical/real-life tracking). Both are excellent family dogs with good “on/off” switch.

The pedigree is a mix of working and exhibition dogs. Jamiroquai has produced a number of promising hunting and show offspring. Additionally, Shaula’s 2 previous litters with her breeder at Team-Freja kennel (2021), have started on show and blood tracking trials with success. With this litter, we hope for good tempered, healthy, active dogs with excellent exterior that can be true “all arounders”.

Aside from lifetime support from us (questions, help with grooming or training, etc…) our puppies come with:

-Registration in the Swedish Kennel Club (SKK) with pedigree

-Veterinary examination and report not older than 7 days

-Microchipping and 1st vaccinations (*Passport available upon request)

-3x deworming

-Hidden faults insurance through Agria as well as help with setting up individual insurance

Puppy packet that includes:

-Detailed tips and timepoints important for your new puppy

-Puppy Food

-Toys

-Blanket with scent from mom/siblings

  • Entrance fees for 1 show & 1 hunting test or 1 BPH entrance fee at 15 months old (12 months old for viltspårprov or BPH). This allows our puppy buyers to try a new activity and for us to evaluate the litter. We strive to always improve the breed.

Moreover, we have spend a lot of time socializing our puppies to various sound, people and situations, which we hope will lead to a well balanced, stable family member.

Interested? Please feel free to call or email for more information.

5 weeks old

The Moniker “A”s turned 5 weeks old this Saturday. We had a lot of visitors and opportunities to learn new things. The puppies had their 2nd round of deworming (they were not fans), took their first ride in the car and met children of different ages (2.5-10 years old) for the first time, had some fun in the garden, were introduced to different scents and hooves/wings (deer, wild boar and goose), ran through tunnels and got to explore the grooming table. It is hard to wear a puppy out, but I think we are doing an ok job. 🙂

Currently 2 boys and 1 girl are still available.

They are ready to move to new home October 1st/week 39. You can see what is included with your future puppy here: Buying a puppy from us

**One boy may be available to the right home that has interest in shows or working trials (we would maintain breeding rights or co-own).**

Pink (girl)- Moniker Aurora (reserved)

Red (girl)- Moniker Azacca (reserved)

Green (boy)- Moniker Admiral

Black (boy)-Moniker Apollo (reserved)

Orange (boy)- Moniker Amarillo

Blue (boy)- Moniker Atlas (reserved)

Four Weeks

This weekend the weather was perfect for the puppies first visit outdoors. Stella showed them how to dig, toured the yard, played with each other and visitors, and interacted with grandpa Baxter before finally crashing. Additionally, the puppies are starting to be introduced to different sounds, like the vacuum cleaner, cooking in the kitchen, lawnmowers, people and cars going by, etc.., and different scents, such as deer and rabbit to work their noses and minds. The pups had several visitors this week including older children and various ages of adults. They have always been very curious, cuddly and playful. We are really happy with their development thus far.
